The Staten Island Ferry: Taken from a larger body of work, these images were shot over a 4 day period whilst on a Magnum Photography Workshop. I choose to photograph in this confined space focusing on how it is used by the commuting New Yorkers during its 25 min journey. The ferry is free and commutes between the Islands of Manhattan and Staten in NYC. The resulting images were shown at the Milk Studios in New York to a audience which included many Photographers from Magnum Photo agency.
